What is Slough Scouting?
Scouting is a charity organisation across the UK, giving both volunteers and young people the chances to socialise and get involved in outdoor activity. In Slough there are 11 groups of a diverse range of young people that meet practically every night of the week.
A range of adventurous activities such as climbing, sno-tubing, archery, potholing and many more are organised enabling over 500 young people to try new adventures; experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Bear Grylls sums up what scouting in Slough offers – ‘It’s about doing great things, loving and enjoying the great adventures and helping others to do the same.‘
