Now in its fourth year 3rd Wexham worked with the wider district to organise and deliver another action packed annual cubs bike ride. Marking 100 years of the cubs movement youngsters from four groups dusted off their saddles, turned up early and covered a loop over 12 miles in distance, mostly off road.
As expected there were a few dramas-a few broken down bikes, a few sore legs that resulted in a ride in the support vehicle for the kids and the leaders:) Not to mention plenty of soaked shoes and socks from wading through water logged fields.
Fantastic support from the district in making this another successful ride for the kids. Very proud of all the youngsters that took part as I know its a great personal achievement to cover a few miles on a bike if not the full loop. So well done to everyone that came along and I hope there are not too many tired legs. Some of the youngsters are already looking for the next big ride:)
