3rd Wexham was proud to host its first FaithTrail in Slough on 12.03.2016 marking 100 years of Cub Scouts. Over 50 youngsters explored the rich religious diversity in their home town and achieved their World Faith Badge. We embarked on our journey which commenced at the beautiful Jamia Masjid and Islamic Centre on Stoke Poges Lane. We learnt so many facts about Islam and were fortunate enough to listen to the Adhaan (call to pray) delivered by a fellow Cub Scout. We then continued on our journey stopping at the enchanting St Paul’s Church where we learnt about Christianity and on our departure we heard the Church bells ringing. Our final stop was the splendid Gudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, where we able to experience live continuous reading of the wholly text. It was an amazing exploration of our beautiful town.
